The Arthroplasty Care Practitioner’s Association (ACPA) represents non medical multidisciplinary health professionals involved in the care of patients with joint disease. They provide care at one or more points in the patient pathway from referral for surgery, through pre-operative screening, peri-operative and post operative care and through long term follow up. They work as part of the team with the orthopaedic surgeons, and ACPA is affiliated to the British Orthopaedic Association.
Follow the link to further details about upcoming meetings. Current ACPA members can log in to access further resources.
ACPA Membership is open to all non medical health professionals involved in the care of patients with joint problems and offers an extended network through which resources may be shared with other practitioners. Belonging to APCA provides the opportunity to attend the annual conference and other major orthopaedic conferences at a reduced rate.
